18 stitches and 25 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 5mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

(2-3 years: 56cm/22”), (4-5 years: 61cm/24”), (6-7 years: 66cm/26”), (8-9 years: 71cm/28”), (10-11 years: 76cm/30”).
