This pattern provides instructions for a Child’s sweater and Cardigan, knitted in King Cole Yumtastic yarn.

Gauge:
10 stitches and 20 rows to 10cm (4“) over pattern using 6mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Sizing Information:
To fit chest:
(4-5 years: 61cm/ 24”), (6-7 years: 66cm/ 26”), (8-9 years: 71cm/ 28”), (10-11 years: 76cm/ 30”).

Sweater:
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn), (Size 2: 4 balls yarn), (Size 3: 5 balls yarn), (Size 4: 5 balls yarn).

Cardigan:
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn), (Size 2: 4 balls yarn), (Size 3: 5 balls yarn), (Size 4: 5 balls yarn).

One pair each of 5mm (UK 6/USA 8) and 6mm (UK 4/USA 10) needles.
You will require stitch holders for the Sweater.
For the Cardigan you will need 66:7:7 buttons ref BT510.
