Pattern description:
This pattern provides instructions for Ladies Round and V neck waistcoats, knitted in King Cole Crescendo Aran yarn.

Gauge:
18 stitches and 25 rows to 10cm (4“) over Irish moss stitch using 5mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Cable panel 38sts measures 16cm, 6.25”.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

V Neck Waistcoat:
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn), (Size 2: 4 balls yarn), (Size 3: 5 balls yarn), (Size 4: 5 balls yarn), (Size 5: 6 balls yarn).

One pair each of 4mm (UK 8 – USA 6) and 5mm (UK 6 – USA 8) needles.
You will require a cable needle for this pattern.

For the Round neck waistcoat you will need 77:7:7:7 buttons ref BT426.
For the V neck waistcoat you will need 55:5:5:5 buttons ref BT424.
