Pattern description:
This pattern provides instructions for Cardigans, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

20 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm (4“) over garter stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Sizing Information:
To fit chest:
(3-4 years: 56cm/ 22”), (5-6 years: 61cm/ 24”), (7-8 years: 66cm/ 26”), (9-11 years: 71cm/ 28”).

Cardigan with Hood:
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn), (Size 2: 3 balls yarn), (Size 3: 3 balls yarn), (Size 4: 4 balls yarn).

Cardigan without Hood:
(Size 1: 1 balls yarn), (Size 2: 2 balls yarn), (Size 3: 2 balls yarn), (Size 4: 3 balls yarn).

One pair each of knitting needles sizes 3.75mm and 4mm.
For the Cardigan with a Hood you will need 33,3,3 buttons ref BT276.
For the Cardigan without a Hood you will need 33,3,3 buttons ref BT500.
