5th Avenue Shawl is a bottom-up triangular shawl in garter stitch featuring asymmetric lines created by easy lace work. The size of the shawl and the number of lines can be easily modified by working more or fewer pattern repeats. The sample shawl was worked with 2 different lace yarns (approx. 660 yds each) held together and beaded along the lines. I hope you enjoy making your own version of this shawl, which will look stylish in various yarn weights with or without beads.

Materials:
1 skein of The Plucky Knitter LACE (115 g / 750 yds) – shown in Breakfast on Fifth
2 skeins of Hasegawa Corporation SEIKA (25 g / 330 yds) – shown in 28 Blue Light
US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle or size to obtain gauge
Stitch markers, blocking pins and wires
(Optional) Size 8 round seed beads - 1008 pieces
(Optional) US 16 (0.6 mm) steel crochet hook for beading

Skills needed: increase, decrease, putting bead as you knit (optional)

シンプルなガーター編みのベースに、アシンメトリーのラインが美しい、裾から編むタイプの三角ショール。
サイズやラインの数はパターンリピート数を増減することで調節可能、細糸にも太糸にも合い、ビーズの編み入れにも適したデザインです。
サンプルは２種類の極細糸（約６００ｍずつ）を引き揃え、ラインに沿って都度ビーズを入れながら編んでいます。
