This pattern provides instructions for a girls jacket, boys jacket and hat, knitted in King Cole yarn.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

(Size 2: 1 ball main shade, 1 ball contrast)+ 4 buttons,
(Size 3: 2 balls main shade, 2 balls contrast)+ 5 buttons,
(Size 4: 2 balls main shade, 2 balls contrast)+ 5 buttons.

Boys jacket:
(Size 1: 1 ball main shade, 1 ball contrast)+ 5 buttons,
(Size 2: 1 ball main shade, 1 ball contrast)+ 5 buttons,
(Size 3: 1 balls main shade, 1 balls contrast)+ 6 buttons,
(Size 4: 1 balls main shade, 1 balls contrast)+ 6 buttons.

The hat requires 1 ball of each the main and contrast shades.
