This pattern provides instructions for Babies hat and Bootee sets, knitted in King Cole Comfort DK yarn.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

22 stitches and 44 rows to 10cm (4“) over garter stitch using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

23 stitches and 34 rows to 10cm (4“) over textured rib pattern for brown set using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

18 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm (4“) over main pattern for lemon set using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

22 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm (4“) over main pattern for white set using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Each set will fit an average sized baby/child. (Premature, 0-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-2 years)

Pink set:
(Premature: 1 balls yarn), (0-6 months: 1 balls yarn), (6-12 months: 1 balls yarn), (1-2 years: 1 balls yarn).

Brown set:
(Premature: 1 balls yarn), (0-6 months: 1 balls yarn), (6-12 months: 1 balls yarn), (1-2 years: 1 balls yarn).

Lemon set:
(Premature: 1 balls yarn), (0-6 months: 1 balls yarn), (6-12 months: 1 balls yarn), (1-2 years: 1 balls yarn).
Oddments of White DK for embroidery.

White set:
(Premature: 1 balls yarn), (0-6 months: 1 balls yarn), (6-12 months: 1 balls yarn), (1-2 years: 1 balls yarn).

You will need stitch holders and Button for the brown helmet.
You will also need button for the lemon bonnet.
Also ribbon for the white bonnet.
