Gauge:
28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

31 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm (4“) over cable pattern using 3.25mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.
