Materials:

• Japanese size 5, 6, & 7 (3.6, 3.9, & 4.2 mm) double-pointed AND straight needles
• 300-350g yarn (between sport and DK depending on your gauge)

Sizing in this pattern is done mainly by needle size. For size small, use Japanese size 5 needle (3.6mm); for medium, use 5 and 6 (3.6 & 3.9mm), and for large, use 6 and 7 (3.9 & 4.2mm). Gauge listed depends on size as well (see pattern for specifics); gauge listed above is for size large.

NOTE: The website includes directions for three variations of the vest: Stylish Vest, Basic Vest, and Basic Sweater (i.e., Basic Vest plus sleeves). The Stylish Vest differs only by having ribbing all the way up the sides of the torso for a more form-fitting shape.
