42 Degrees
42 Degrees opposite the direction of the light source – and only 42 degrees - you see it: a beautiful rainbow! That handy little number gives it’s name to this pattern.
This shawl is full of funky marl magic, some simple short rows create a beautiful edging along one edge as you go, and the generous shape gives you a nice, big, squishy hug around your shoulders.
Size: 85 in/216 cm along the top edge of the shawl X 33 in/84 cm at the widest part of the shawl. Shawl size may vary, depending on individual knitter’s gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.
Recommended yarn: 10 colors of fingering weight yarns in semi-solid/tonal/speckle/variegated yarns. The more speckles/tones, the better! This helps those marl colors blend and POP!

- CC4-CC5: 185 yd/170 m of each color
- CC6-CC10: 230 yd/210 m of each color
