A featherweight lace shawl that instantly adds elegance to your outfit and provides soft warmth is my go-to accessory for traveling or when I’m running out the door.

And with its unique shaping, wear this shawl around your neck and it drapes effortlessly with the ends gently cascading down.

Knitting starts at the top center, with 3 sets of eyelet increases that create a gentle semi-circular shape as you work basic Stockinette stitch for the beginning part of the shawl.

When the lace pattern is introduced, the center increases continue while the left and right increases move to the edges, creating the final triangular shape with the curvy, tapered ends.

The lace pattern is a very open double-leaf design that perfectly complements the Stockinette stitch and creates a gently peaked border. Please note that the lace is charted only.

FINISHED KNIT MEASUREMENTS: Approx 54” / 137 cm across top; 22 ¼” / 56.5 cm height at center.

Shown in: Garnstudio DROPS Kid-Silk (75% Mohair/25% Silk); .875 oz/25 g; 230 yds/210 m per hank): 2 balls in Color #10 Grey. Suggested substitutes listed.

Gauge: Approx 10 sts = 17 rows = 3” / 7.5 cm in St st, blocked.
