#308 Lola Bunny
Lola Bunny is a stuffed bunny about 13 inches (33 cm) tall, knitted in the round on double pointed needles (magic loop can be substituted).
You will also need two stitch holders or short lengths of embroidery floss, a tapestry needle, about 1.5 ounces/42 grams of stuffing, and one small hank of embroidery floss in black or the color of your choice (for the eyes, nose, and mouth).
The bunny is knitted in the round from the waist up, with raglan shaping at the shoulders. The head is knitted in the same piece as the body. When the head is finished, arms are knitted from picked-up stitches at the shoulders, and legs are knitted from picked-up stitches at the initial cast-on edge.
The bunny is stuffed from an opening left at the rear end, which is then closed by picking up stitches and working decreases.
Ears and little bunny tail are knitted separately and sewn on. The face is embroidered with embroidery floss. A strand of yarn tied in a bow shapes the neck.
This pattern was originally available in a kit from Schaefer Yarn alongside Lola superwash merino yarn, but the company has gone out of business.
