This little black camisole is one of those versatile pieces we all need in our closet. It’s updated, with a slightly shorter length and higher, square neckline.

A lovely lace design embellishes the front.

The camisole is knit from the bottom up in one piece. Decreases to shape to the bust are placed along 2 center lines on the front and back, for a pretty effect.

At the underarms, the front and back are separated and finished in rows. The front is completed first with armhole shaping, the lace design, and a square neckline with a few rows of ribbing. Straps are ribbed, extending from the top front.

The back is then continued and finished with a little bit of ribbing (see image on next page). Finally, the straps are sewn to the back.
