This easy crochet shawl is a one row repeat, worked sideways with V stitches. It works up very quickly! I used Impressions yarn (approx. 450 yds), but you can use any size yarn and any size hook, because the shawl begins by working a foundation chain that is the LENGTH desired for the shawl. So if you only wish to make a scarf, start with a shorter foundation chain. A longer shawl, work a longer foundation chain.
