Passap machine knitting instructions for a child’s dress knit in a transfer lace pattern with a self-punched Deco card, with the purlside used as the right side. After knitting the skirt, it is rehung with gathers before the top parts are knit plain without the transfer lace pattern. The sleeves are knit in the transfer lace pattern, and are rehung to form gathers at the bottom of the sleeves.

A release / drop stich pattern is used to knit the collar which is sewn on at the end along with a button and loop closure at the back neck.
