Haramaki are used to keep the stomach warm in Japan, particularly during chilly winters with no central heating.

Materials
* Japanese size 8 double-pointed knitting needles (4.5mm)

version A (50cm):

• 45g (110m) color 1 white
• 35g (86m) color 5 lemon yellow
• 10g (24.5m) color 7 aqua blue

version B (36.5cm):

• 13g (32m) color 1 white
• 13g (32m) color 3 apricot
• 13g (32m) color 5 lemon yellow
• 13g (32m) color 7 aqua blue

Note: entire haramaki is knit with two strands held together.
