Both front and back are worked flat from the same provisionally cast-on shoulder stitches and are joined at the underarm to work in the round. Stitches for the drop-shoulder sleeves are picked up along the armhole openings and knit to the cuff; sleeves are seamed. For a polished look, use the jobless join method (described at www.knitsimplemag.com) to ensure that your stripes match side to side.
