The bulk of the dress is knitted in stocking stitch, the floral motif in single bed fairisle following the chart given in the instructions.

The pattern calls for 450 g “fairly fine mohair/acrylic” (600m in 100g): 440 g beige, 10 g black.

Test square in stocking stitch: 100 sts = 32.5 cm, 100 rows = 25 cm
