2432 Wrap-over dress
Passap machine knitting instructions for a girl’s wrap dress. The skirt is knitted first and then rehung with two stitches on every needle when the knitting the bodice elements. The bodice is decorated with a GX/AX tuck pattern described as a “3 colour loop pattern”. This can be done manually by following the chart given or by using Jac card no. 65 (73).
The skirt and armholes are hemmed. The other edges are finished with a long stitch (N/CX) border which is sewn on. The dress is closed with buttons and press studs.
The pattern calls for 430g “medium wool” (430m per 100g): 30g white, 60g red, 340g green. Plus 2 buttons and two press studs.
Test square: 100 sts=33.5 cm, 100 rows (RC 200) =24 cm
