The pattern PDF includes hand- and machine-knitting instructions in French and Dutch.

The recommended knitting machine is the midgauge LK150.

The tension settings are 7.5 for the main body and 4.5 for the hems, with the same gauge as for handknitting (17 sts and 22 rows on US8/5.0mm or tension 7.5 on LK150).

For the handknitting pattern, the smaller needles, US 6/4.0 mm, are for knitting the hems.
