#23 Lavender Pockets
Worked in solid silver or white Eco Baby organic cotton or in a two-color herringbone pattern, these lovely sachet pockets are simply strips of stockinette stitch with garter-stitch edges, folded to form envelopes into which you insert your own bags of lavender or other aromatics.
Materials
• 1 x 50g ball of Debbie Bliss Eco Baby in each of Silver 30 (A) and White 01 (B) (see note)
• Pair each of 3mm (US 2-3) and 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension.
• Two11x9cm/4 1⁄4 x 3 1⁄2” pieces of muslin or organza for each pocket.
• Sewing thread.
• Approximately 5g/ 1⁄4 oz of dried lavender flowers.
Note
You will be able to complete 2 differently coloured plain pockets and one herringbone pocket from the two balls of yarn.
