#21 Ribbed Coat Two-Tone Dress
A coordinated, knitted, ensemble consisting of a coat and a dress. Dress is sleeveless with a double banded neckline.
Materials: Unger’s Roman Beauty, 21 gram ball. Dress: 10 (11-12) Green (A) and 8 (9-10) Beige (B). Coat: 29 (32-35) Green (A). Boye knitting needles No. 2, No. 3, No 4 and No. 5. Boye No. 1 steel crochet hook. Neck zipper, elastic thread, elastic cord and 3.25 (3.5-4) yds. 45” lining material.
Gauge: Pattern St on No. 5 needles: 6 sts=1”; 8 rows=1”. Stockinette St on No. 3 needles: 13 sts=2”.
Pattern ST: uneven number of sts. Row 1: P1 * sl 1 holding yarn in back of work, p1; repeat from * across. Row 2: P. Repeat these 2 rows for pattern st.
