This blanket is part of the 2019 Crochet A Block Collection - Purchase the PDF version which includes all 24 Squares, plus joining and border for the throw.

Crochet a throw or afghan consisting of 25 unique squares worked in a variety of motifs and stitches.

Difficulty Level | Skills Required
Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.

You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided with each square.

Materials
Hook – 4, 00 mm (G)
Scissors
Yarn needle

Yarn:
MoYa 100% Organic Cotton DK Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light.

Approx 2960 yards / 2700 meters (20 balls)

Amazon - color A (6 balls)
Natural - color B (4 balls)
Butternut - color C (2 balls)
Teal - color D (2 balls)
Seafoam - color E (2 balls)
Thunder - color F (2 x balls)
Cherry - color G (2 x balls)

Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests Cotton DK yarn, but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.

Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!
Blocking your squares are recommended (not necessary) for the consistency in size for the squares.

Pattern Notes:
In this pattern two blanket are shown – each made 3 squares x 4 squares rectangles.
This is OPTIONAL. One large rectangle can be made with all 24 squares (4 squares x 6 squares)

Final Blanket Size including border – 3 square x 4 square =
Approx. Length = 34 inch / 84 cm Width = 42 inches / 107 cm

Final Blanket Size including border – 4 square x 6 square =
Approx. Length = 42 inch / 107 cm Width = 60 inches / 153 cm

Square Size - 23 cm x 23 cm (approx. 9 inches)

Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your blanket will be a different size!
