This 2-color cowl design features several types of knitted fabric - brioche, lace, cables and stockinette. The soft, squishy tube traps warm air to keep the wearer toasty warm!

The pattern is designed for two colors with a dark main color (Color A) and a lighter contrast color (Color B). Solid or semi-solid colors are great choices for both, or use a speckle for Color B! Choose a merino/silk or cashmere blend for extra luxury.

Brioche stitches are explained/defined plus a link to video tutorial is included, making this a great pattern for knitters who are new to brioche. The small sections of lace and simple cables are also great introductions for those techniques while providing enough variety to keep experienced knitters interested.

Yarn Requirements:

  • Fingering weight
  • Approximately 175 yards / 40-45 grams EACH for Color A and Color B

Yarn/needle suggestions are giving for sizing the pattern to be larger, if necessary.
