1864 Baby's Bootees
A Passap machine knitting pattern for baby’s booties. Knit flat and then joined with clever folding to make cuffed booties with an asymmetric button band.
Pattern calls for ‘barely 1 oz medium baby wool’ ( 340 meters / 100 g).
The garter stitch like texture of the body of the booties is made using a transfer pattern with the U70 transfer lock. The booties photographed on Ravelry were sewn together inside out by accident - the garter stitch like texture is on the inside ;-) There is an error in the patterning description: black strippers must be used not red/orange strippers.
