Still life with “Bolero.” Evan Knapp’s fruit bowl is worked in four triangles in single crochet through the back loops. Wire is woven in for stability; cardboard sturdies the base.

Note:
All Stitches are made through the back loops. You will also need 22 gauge cloth wrapped floral wire (about 5 (7) feet/ 1.5 (2)meters) and three 4 (6)“/10 (15.5)cm round pieces of corrugated cardboard (about 1/8th”).

Bolero by Lion Brand 3½oz/100g balls, each approx 55yd/50m (wool)

Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook

22 gauge cloth wrapped floral wire, approx 5 (7) feet/1.5 (2)m

Three 4 (6)“/10 (15.5)cm round pieces of cardboard, approx Ω”/.5cm thick corrugated cardboard)
