From the author: The inspiration is from Islamic tiles: the little diamonds at each crossover of the lattice were originally small stars. You could make them stars again to add a little extra finesse if you like.

This uses a different pattern to the one in the Lattice Pattern V-neck Sweater in Glorious Knits. It has narrower bars, and larger background squares, which are striped horizontally.
