This particular bear was a companion or protector of Kintaro (pattern 15).

“Tawashi” are various types of scrubbers which could be used to clean dishes, windows, and other household items.

Pattern is Japanese but fully charted using standard crochet symbols.

Hook: Japanese size 7.5/0 = 4.5mm, between US G-6 (4.0mm) and US H-8 (5.0mm).
