Merrick pays homage to traditional chullos’ bright colors and fine gauges with a hat knit in Koigu Wool Designs’ KPM. Checkers, birds and arrows join the vivid array of colorwork motifs. The earflaps are made first and joined to the brim’s interior. Pompom-trimmed ties embellish the earflaps and crown.
