#12 Lace Afghan
Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2009: “The simple lace field of this throw by Karen Joan Raz cascades forth from two linked border patterns - one solid, one open - that flow naturally into the main lace pattern. A pale shell shade of ‘Bam Boo’ from Classic Elite Yarns give the blanket uncommon sheen and softness.”
“Lace pattern afghan with ribbed edges and a double border.”
Materials:
- 19 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 77yd/70m) Classic Elite Yarns Bam Boo (bamboo) in #4922 blush
- One size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 32”/80cm long or size to obtain gauge
Note: Afghan is worked back and forth, circular needles are specified to accommodate the large number of sts.
