SUMMARY: This is a woman’s square-neck cardigan with drop-shoulders and long sleeves. The body and sleeves are worked separately in the round and steeks are used to insert the sleeves into the body. The cardigan body features an overall stylized flower bloom, stem and leaf pattern, edged with bloom buds at the front openings with zig-zag bands on the sleeves. The zig-zag pattern and thin stripes are used at the hemline of the body. The shoulder area of the body and the upper sleeves are finished with solid bands of colour and the thin stripe pattern. The neckband and button plackets are solid colour. The lower edge of the body, sleeve cuffs, buttonbands and neckband are self-faced with a purl turning row. Crocheted buttonloops are added for closure.
