#09 Flicker Poncho
by Laura Bryant
This page: Jumping on the southwestern trend, Bryant’s simple rectangular poncho features six hand-dyed Prism
yarn shades in the drape of Slinky, the supple base of Petite Madison and the sequined twinkle of Shimmerati. Each yarn is cut and tied to the next, which creates the fringe as you go. Finishing is a minimal amount of seaming, neck and lower edging, and fringe twisting.
COLOR CUE
What makes a design a success?
It’s never only about the colors. Working with yarns of different textures instantly punches up the impact of a hand-dyed yarn.
