#08 Kimono-Style Cardigan
Mimicking the classic shape of a kimono, this cardigan is knit in two pieces starting at the sleeve cuff and worked toward the center. Lace edgings in a palm leaf chevron pattern grace the fronts, cuffs and center back (where the pieces are seamed); the front opening is finished with garter stitch. Fino from Manos del Uruguay/Fairmount Fibers, a delicate blend of silk and merino, lends this piece perfect drape and softness.
