Regardless of actual body measurements, everyone prefers a different finished look. It is helpful to use the “measurements of the finished garment” to decide which size to make. The measurements in the thumbnail photo refer to this specific garment only. It can help you choose the look you prefer

For your pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
-Size 3-(3.25 mm) and 5-(3.75 mm) straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
-Size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle, 16 inches-(40.5 cm) long
-Size 5-(3.75 mm) or smaller double pointed needles or five stitch holders
