My aunt taught me to crochet when I was 9. As a kid with severe ADHD that went undiagnosed until I was 30 (yes, 3-0), I suspect it was an effort to get me to sit still and shut up for awhile! I dabbled here and there through my 20’s, and in my 30’s, discovered how much of a stress relief crochet really was for me. I’ve been freehanding stuff for years, but I am just now (July 2017) venturing into the world of design!
