I’m Tash and I’m a knitwear designer and indie yarn dyer.

My work is often described as dramatic and earthy and that’s exactly my style! I take a lot of inspiration from nature, particularly from the Protea and other Fynbos plants.

My patterns are beginner-friendly focusing on details by using techniques like cables, lace and stranded colorwork. I want knitting to be a way to take care of yourself in the middle of busy days, but also therapeutic (as knitting and designing is for me).

All my designs feature ethically sourced all natural fibres because I believe what you wear against your skin should be made from the best nature has to offer.

I’m a wife and mom to a little girl and twin boys. I’m also an introvert, preferring solitude over social outings. I’m a reader, poetry writer and enjoy spinning a wide variety of natural fibres.
