Sheila is a free lance designer and instructor specializing in the techniques of Fair Isle. She strives to make sure every student feel happy with their success thus motivating them to continue learning. Sheila teaches at local yarn shops and Stitches West and her classes fill up quickly. She has an exclusive book, “I Can’t Believe I’m Fair Isle Knitting” published by Leisure Arts in 2012. You will find her designs published in books and magazines from Sterling Publications, Creative Knitting, Simply Shetland , Plymouth Yarn, Vogue Knitting Fall 2010, Designer Knitting Fall 2010 and several “60 Quick Knits” books published by Soho publishing and Cascade Yarns. Sheila loves to make people smile and loves teaching. Other things that bring her joy are family, friends, sunshine, nature, a bird singing, and the natural beauty you find in life.
