Linda Voss Plummer
Linda has been knitting for most of her life, spinning and weaving for the last 50 years. She also quilts and dyes and loves the intersection of all the fiberarts. She has been privileged to have studied with nationally and internationally recognized quilters, knitters, spinners and weavers.
Her work has increasingly moved to fiber close to the farm – using the variety of breed specific wool, alpaca, and other animal fibers available to us. We are indebted to the hard work of shepherds who make our fiber creative lives possible!
Linda is published in a variety of books and through yarn companies. She teaches locally and regionally – The Finger Lakes Fiber Festival, The Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival, Kinzua KnitAway, and in a variety of shops and venues. Her 19th semi - annual Does a Bear Knit in the Woods? (they do!) retreat was held last fall.
She is wading deep into the history of Women’s Suffrage and writing a series of patterns celebrating this long movement.
