I was born and brought up in Shetland but came to hand knitting the long route. I studied textiles at art school and when I returned to Shetland decided to give machine knitting a go. After working as a teacher and designer I began working at Jamieson & Smith and got the hand knitting bug and basically haven’t been able to stop since. I now knit and design mainly socks but have started to write patterns for hats, scarfs and will hopefully be selling these on Ravelry soon.
