I started as a crocheter when my friend’s grandma taught me how to crochet in grade school. I fell in love with it instantly. I didn’t learn to knit until I had just graduated from high school. I stopped by a local yarn store and learned on a whim (and because I’d always been curious about it). After that, it’s always been a part of my life.
I initially started by selling ready-made items for YEARS (on and off). I didn’t have the confidence to design items, I felt like that was for more accomplished knitters. But I eventually took the leap (you can read more about it in my blogpost here).
I absolutely love designing. My patterns always have a design element that keeps it interesting. Since I have a difficult time with projects that are primarily the same stitch, I always try to incorporate something to look forward to, whether that’s a little lace, colorwork, etc.
I hope you find as much enjoyment making them as I did!
