My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 8 years old. I put it aside until I was in my teens, and then retaught myself with books and magazines along with both of my sisters. I love crocheting very much.

My crocheting was mostly for gift giving to family and friends and friends of family until 2014 when I started writing patterns. I wrote my first pattern because I couldn’t find an existing pattern for what I was wanting to crochet. I try to write patterns that are pretty unique. I like to emphasize quality over quantity. I have so many more ideas than I have time to make them and so many patterns that I would love to write down.

I also started selling crocheted items at our local Saturday Market in 2014, and did that for a couple of years until I had to have back surgery. Still do a lot of crocheting for friends and family and sell some also.
