Note from Knit Picks: “Although the label says this yarn is machine washable, we have found that the alpaca in the blend starts to felt after multiple machine washes. To preserve the fit of your socks, we now recommend that you hand wash only.”
The labels are under the process of being corrected. The wool part of the blend has been given a superwash treatment, but the yarn in its entirety is not machine washable.
