If you’d like to make matching sweaters, here’s both patterns together!

Sailor Moon was one of my favorite animes, and still is. My dad used to tape it on tv so I could watch it after I was done with my homework every weekday. It was my first fandom, and still holds a special place in my heart.

Chibiusa or Chibi Moon is a complex character that appears cute and sweet, but there’s more there than expected. The yoke was designed specifically with her in mind, and the textured pattern is used on the body to reflect that she’s not as simple as she may initially appear.

Both Chibi pullovers are worked top down yoked with stranded colorwork on the yoke, and use the same textured patterning on the body. However, the adult version is written to be cropped and short sleeved, while the kids version has a full length body and both short and long sleeve options. The short rows to add length to the back on the adult version has been omitted in the kids version.

An optional extra chart is included, in case you would like to duplicate stitch a little bonus (just peeking out in picture 4) on your Chibi!
