Throughout 2021 I created a monthly gnome square. This eBook saves you 40% compared to buying each square individually. The original squares were designed first as interlocking crochet patterns. The overlay mosaic crochet versions of each square used the interlocking chart but were written for the mosaic crochet technique. Each gnome has now been updated to include a 3rd option: the adjusted overlay mosaic crochet pattern.
You will receive three files, one for each technique. Each file contains all 12 monthly gnome squares and an all-in-one blanket pattern (not available separately). Each pattern has written instructions and charts. The overlay mosaic crochet charts have X’s.
the interlocking crochet charts are 81 x 81
the original overlay mosaic crochet patterns use that same chart
the adjusted overlay mosaic crochet patterns use a chart that has the same image but the interlocking mesh dots have been removed; the extra border lines have also been removed so these charts are 77 x 77.
The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.
Mosaic crochet is single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting). ____
I have YouTube tutorials available for both crochet methods! Follow this link to get to my YouTube channel and find my other social links: https://ashleeslint.com/link-in-bio _____
Blanket will cover a twin-size bed (58” x 76”).
Each square finishes to about 20” when gauge is met.
Patterns tested by Angela Kermack, CarolinevdB, Just_Duckie_Crochet, Just_Stitched_ByJS, Linda Bakker, and Wolsalon.
What does this mean? This is an original pattern by Ashlee Brotzell. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or share any part of it whether for profit or not. This includes, but is not limited to, the written pattern, the chart, and the photos. No translations or video tutorials are allowed.
Sales of your finished items are, of course, unrestricted (and I wish you all the best!). I appreciate credit given to the designer when possible but it is not a requirement. You may tag me @AshleesLint or direct people to my website www.ashleeslint.com
