Zooming Light is the Fingering weight (4 ply) sister to Zooming. Inspired by the desire to have a relaxing project while connecting with crafty friends over Zoom, it is simple to knit while carrying on a conversation and with frequent section changes, you will find yourself relaxed and literally zooming through it (see what I did there :)). A little texture, some simple lace, endless colour options, and easy-to-customise sizing- this shawl is also an excellent way to bust your yarn stash.

The pattern contains full written instructions and chart. A tick-sheet is also provided, which includes pattern and colour placement, stitch counts, and lace row instructions. Once the set-up section is completed, the entire shawl can be worked from the one page tick-sheet for easy reference if you want to, making this the perfect social project.

This pattern also includes a copy of the sister pattern Zooming.

Yarn
100-200g fingering weight yarn in either in 1 colour or split evenly between MC and a CC (sample used 118g Qing Yak Singles at 480m/525y per 120g/4.2oz col. Bronx, please check your label when using this yarn as the yardage of this base has since changed).

Please note that although the sample is shown in one colour, the pattern is written to include the option of using a contrast colour for the lace and final garter sections. Your yarn requirements will vary based on whether you use one or several colours and what size you knit.
