Introduction

Yullana is a cropped pullover, with texturized stitch motif at the front centre panel and sleeves, created with simple knit and purl stitches, and bobbles. With a flair of peasant blouses, Yullana has bishop / balloon sleeves in smaller proportions, for a contemporary look. I like to think this pullover has the characteristics of an all-day piece, with some cute and stylish details! I hope Yullana pullover becomes one of your favorite handknits!

Notions Markers; removable marker; stitch holders; cable needle; tapestry needle; F-5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook; waste yarn (I like to work with cotton yarn because it’s easier to undo the provisional crochet chain).

Notes

This top is initially worked back and forth, from the top down. After the “V” neck, the piece is worked circular. The sleeves are worked circular from the top down. The collar, cuffs and hem are worked in 1 X 1 Rib Stitch. Both fronts and sleeves have stitch motifs chartered for a limited number of stitches, delimitated by stitch markers. Change to longer circulars while working the yoke, when needed.
