YO is a relaxed cap in the spirit of a traditional student cap, but not as uptight. The name of the cap comes from the Finnish abbreviation of student: ylioppilas.

This is a quick project that is finished in couple of nights.

Sizes: S - M - L - XL to fit head circumference 50/54 – 52/56 – 54/58 – 56/60 cm (19.2/20 – 20.8/21.6 – 21.6/22.4 – 23.2/24”)

Finished measurements: circumference 46 – 50 – 54 – 58 cm (18.4 – 20 – 21.6 – 23.2”), height 22 – 24 – 25 – 26 cm (8.8 – 9.6 – 10 – 10.4”) – Observe: the cap is supposed to be fitted.

Yarn weight: fingering (16 wpi)

Materials: CC (black) 60-80 m (66-88 yd) and MC (white) 110-130 m (120-145 yd)

Skill level: intermediate

Techniques: Provisional Crochet CO, short rows
