INTRO
After hats, fingerless mitts are my most worn winter accessory. You can wear them while accomplishing almost any task, and they are super fun to knit, too.
Yeti’s Snow Day Mitts are worked in the round from the bottom (wrist) up and feature folded ribbed cuffs. The colorwork uses a total of three yarn colors with two contrasting colors, which are alternated throughout the pattern by rounds so that three colors are never worked at once. The colorwork charts include complete written instructions.

YARN AND YARDAGE
Sugarplum Circus Cypress Sport (100% fine non-superwash Merino, 328 yards / 300 meters per 100-gram skein and 65 yards / 60 meters per 20-gram mini skein)
Mitts use one full-size skein for the MC and two mini skeins for CC1 and CC2. Yardage includes a 10% buffer.
Please note that with the 10% buffer, CC1 and CC2 yardage exceeds the total amount listed on each mini skein label when working both the Yeti’s Snow Day Mitts and Abominable Yeti projects. However, both samples were worked without running out of yarn. If you plan to work both projects, it is recommended to keep your yarn tails as short as possible and to keep an eye on your yardage throughout.
Main Color (MC) shown in colorway So Royal: 149 yards / 137 meters
Contrast Color 1 (CC1) shown in colorway Forget-Me-Not: 22 yards / 21 meters
