Fading from grass to sky :: an asymmetrical triangle shawl inspired by the beautiful Texas landscape, knit using a combination of one-color and two-color brioche.
This asymmetrical triangle shawl is knit from tip to bound off edge, with increases along the left edge. Starting with one-color brioche, the shawl grows with waves of brioche increases and decreases, fading to the next color using two-color brioche to blend the colors. I was inspired by the beautiful Texas landscape, miles of grass lands fading to wide open sky. Madelinetosh yarn was the perfect choice for this shawl, as they are based in North Texas! Choose three fun colors to create your own gradient, or even a speckled fade would be amazing!
Skill level: Intermediate. Basic brioche skills are not required, but are recommended. Techniques used: knit, purl, brioche knit (brk), brioche purl (brp), brioche increases and decreases.
This pattern is both written and charted, for your convenience!
