This pattern makes a cozy shawl. I have used a 4-ply colour gradient yarn, 2 balls, one 1270m and one 1090m, but you can also use any 4-ply or fingering weight yarn, 2 contrasting colours or one solid colour with a self striping fingering weight yarn such as Zauberball or Lang yarns mille colori.

If you don’t like such a big shawl you can knit it in any size smaller than this one by casting off whenever you prefer.
